上海科学技术文献出版社成立于1978年5月，隶属于上海图书馆上海科学技术情报研究所。上海图书馆上海科学技术情报研究所丰富的馆藏、多元的信息，是上海科学技术文献出版社出版多种载体出版物的资源保障。 从2004年起，上海科学技术文献出版社启动了“上海图书馆馆藏拂尘”行动，该行动将上海图书馆馆藏的尘封多年的图书重新挖掘出新的价值，并用新的方式，新的思路，重新演绎。 近年来，上海科学技术文献出版社以“大科普”图书见长，擅长于以优美的人文手笔描绘艰深的科技知识，并从科技与生活的角度入手，拉近普通读者与先进科技之间的距离。无论是原创作品，还是引进作品，都深受广大读者和图书馆的喜爱。 此外，上海科学技术文献出版社继续深化与中央电视台的合作，在教育、科学、文化领域开展全方位的合作。 生活保健类图书一直是上海科学技术文献出版社的主要板块。其中，“挂号费”丛书和“治百病”系列更是上海科学技术文献出版社的主打产品。 上海科学技术文献出版社在教育、科学、文化领域不断创新、努力提升，致力于传承中华文化，提高民族素质。 Brief Introduction Founded in May 1978，Shanghai Scientific & Technological Literature Publishing House(SSTLPH) is a part of Shanghai Library and Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Shanghai whose abundant collections and information provides SSTLPH with rich resource for its wide range of publications. In 2004, Shanghai Scientific & Technological Literature Publishing House launched Shanghai Library Classic Collections Republishing Plan, a project aimed to discover rare but forgotten titles among the collection of Shanghai Library and republish them in brand new format using new concept and method. In recent years, SSTLPH has successfully established its position in the market of popular science publications. The works which depict profound science in comprehensive manner of writing bridge the gap between ordinary readers and advanced technology. Both original and foreign introduced titles are well received by readers and libraries.
