Job Overview: This position will provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation and support customers with any questions, issues, debugging, or troubleshooting regarding Qualcomm (QC) Bluetooth software. It is also required to provide technical expertise of QC Bluetooth software through sales presentations, product demonstrations and assist the marketing in assessing potential application of company connectivity products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer solutions. It requires you to make the right judgements on technical issues with limited supervision; and requires you to establish the good relationships with customers who have different culture and religions. Responsibilities: • Develop/integrate QC Bluetooth solution into QC Automotive platforms. • Provide technical support (training, design review, issue diagnose and fix, customization, demonstration, etc) regarding QC Bluetooth products. • Co-work with Engineering team on design review and customer issue debugging. • Contribute to application notes, code reviews, SW porting/integration and analysis of problems, identify underlying issue. • Communicate essential technical information to be leveraged by marketing teams. • Recognise and provide customer feedbacks to marketing and Engineering team on new business opportunities and features for Qualcomm’s next generation wireless chips. • Manage customer project during the entire development and deployment cycle, to ensure expectations are set and all necessary information is conveyed. Basic Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in software development on Linux/Android embedded operating systems. • 8+ years solid design and coding experiences in C/C++, Java, Python, etc. • 6+ years of experience on Bluetooth development or porting on Linux/Android. • In-depth knowledge of embedded operating system and strong Bluetooth expertise. • Be self-sufficient, self-driving and capable to operate effectively under tight deadlines. • Great team player with strong leadership skills; problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skill; Comfortable speaking with internal and external customers at all levels (engineering, sales, marketing, senior management) • Excellent written and verbal English skill.
