Job Description - NOC ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: The FreeWheel Operations team is looking to hire a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced technical Operations Engineer for our Global Network Operations Center (NOC) in Beijing Office. This division of the production operations team monitors our mission critical line-of-business applications. Specifically, the candidate for this position will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and acting as Point of Communication for our real time Production alarms, all while upholding our commitment to deliver the best customer experience. Aside from the technical aspect, we are looking for someone who can contribute to the overall success of the NOC team. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for overseeing all production application and infrastructure status in collaboration with globally distributed 24*7 team • Provide triage and identify impact scope when production alarms raised • Responsible for executing and streamlining business defined processes through maximized automation • Serve as the hub of communication for escalations and live or high-profile events • Develop Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) documents • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and few nights ABOUT YOU / QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable focus required • Experience with Python or Golang programming • Experience working with monitoring tool stacks (Nagios/Livestatus, Grafana/InfluxDB, PagerDuty, BigPanda, etc.) • Demonstrated effective communication and collaboration with globally located colleagues, both clients facing and interdepartmental
