Job Summary Rouse Trade Mark Attorneys are important contributors to the team. Trade Mark Attorneys focus on developing the breadth and depth of their technical knowledge and skills. They work closely with senior colleagues, observing their approach to clients and understanding what it means to provide practical and commercial advice. Trade Mark Attorneys are highly enthusiastic team players, who willingly take on tasks and support colleagues and peers. In their dealings with clients and colleagues, they strive to communicate in a clear and unstuffy manner. Outline of Responsibilities  Leadership / Development • Mentor paralegals and trainees. • Provide helpful feedback when delegating work. • Consistently meet statutory and client deadlines. • Meet specific performance targets. • Run multiple case files in an organised and proactive manner. • Comply with risk management protocols and policies.  Client / Business • Handle all trade mark prosecution matters, including clearance searches, all types of applications (filings, assignment and license recordals), oppositions, invalidations, non-use cancellations (including advising on evidence and drafting detailed submissions), gap analysis projects. • Provide practical and technically sound advice on trade mark prosecution matters in a clear and unstuffy manner. • Collect and analyse facts. • Develop market and client insight. • Meet and exceed client needs and expectations. • Support colleagues to meet and exceed client expectations. • Participate in training and knowledge management activities.
