System Architect for Metrology Systems Location: Guangzhou, PR China Languages: Fluent written and spoken English Job Description: ZEISS is an internationally technology enterprise operating in the fields of optics and optoelectronics. We are a diverse company with over 35,000 employees in almost 50 countries, and we are looking for a System Architect and Project Manager for Measurement Software in Metrology to join our innovation team in Guangzhou. As a Software Architect in Metrology, you will be joining ZEISS to work on new cutting-edge projects and concepts for our customers. You will become an integral member of the team, continuously working on the evolution of our high-profile innovation projects. You will be responsible for the architecture of software for measuring machines and devices, for measurement data analysis as well as interface definition. You will coordinate software development activities in a team, apply methods of agile software development (e.g. SCRUM), take over the administration of the created software solutions, be responsible for test, build and release management. Job requirement: 1. a successfully completed degree in the field of computer science. 2. some professional experience and have already gained experience in managing software projects in a technical environment. 3. good programming skills in C#, C++. 4. knowledge and experience in using Azure DevOps and Visual Studio. 5. ideally knowledge of optics.
