Mission:
Identify opportunities and execute lean improvement projects in areas across the Shenzhen operational site.
Applying HPS methodology to build a solid lean foundation to driving Shenzhen plant towards to lean digitalization factory.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing lean across whole Shenzhen business unit site, including factory long-term lean planning and implementation roadmap, offer/organize lean trainings.
- Analyze current data and processes to evaluate the improvement opportunities at both logistic and manufacturing area, use Lean tools to minimize the waste in factory.
- Work with shopfloor leaders to identify critical problems and opportunities impacting key performance metrics, including flow manufacturing, UPH improvement etc.
- Work with logistic do the feasibility analysis, planning and application of automation technology, to continuously improve the efficiency of logistics operations
- Conduct problem solving sessions through establish and facilitate regular kaizen activities such as Value Stream Mapping for key process/products, Structure Problem Solving, 5S, and SMED etc. events to train local teams.
- Drive and monitor results from activities with an Agile Visual Management approach and reporting to senior level leaders.
- HPS scale up and promote HPS core method application through business challenge improvement event and build up HPS Certified Practitioners.
- Closely work with HPS officer, HPS manager to maintain the HPS topics for the local organization
- Any other tasks assigned by manager
Competencies:
- 5+ years lean experience in electronics manufacturing industrial
- In depth knowledge & experience of Lean Manufacturing (waste elimination, continuous improvement tools, JIT, VSM, flow, Pull manufacturing, Kanban, poka-yoke, SMED, etc.), and methodological skills regarding Lean Management based Business Systems, e.g. Siemens Production System (SPS), Toyota Production System, Danaher or Bosch Production Systems is preferred
- High energy, detail-minded, ability to work in systematic, structured, and efficient manner
- Strong problem solving, team building, planning and decision-making skills with the ability to challenge, communicate, influence and work collaboratively with key stakeholders
- Proven experience in change management, coaching projects or process improvement initiatives
- Relevant experience in organizing and lead of improvement workshops, presentation of content and documentation / communication of results
- Skills and practical experience in Structured Problem Solving and one or more of the following methods: Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Agile Visual Management, Healthy Dialogue Methods, and GROWs Coaching
- Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred
