• Job Description o This position is seeking an enthusiastic and innovation talent for Lumentum engineering in Futian, Shenzhen. o This position is responsible for the production of passive products o The main task of this position is to keep the production line running, solve production problems and make process improvement. Position Details You will contribute to a number of programs by: • Provides technical and sustaining engineering support in product line. • Recommends and implements equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products. • Develops and conducts statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical cause of failure for yield loss and improving quality. • Failure analysis for customer return, and the failure of quality, reliability, process and test. Desired Knowledge •Bachelor's and 2-5 years of work experience or Master's and 0-2 years work experience, and college with 10 years experiences in Optical communication related Company is desired. •Experience on passive product or other related products, especially technical background for Attenuator, WDM or Coating are preferred •Nice to have skills on data analysis with Excel or related software. •Nice to have knowledge with SPC, test and reliability •Good English both in reading and writing
