IBM China Global Delivery Center
Founded in 1911 in the U.S., IBM – International Business Machines, is the world's largest IT and business solution provider. IBM is the only IT Company in the world, and also in China, to offer end-to–end solutions from hardware to software services and high end consultancy. IBM’s services arm is the world's largest information technology and consulting service provider.
To drive higher value for clients and address the growing demand for global delivery of IT services, IBM opened its Global Delivery Center (GDC) in China in 1999 in Shanghai. Over the past decade, it has become IBM's second largest Global Delivery Center worldwide.
China GDC provides a broad spectrum of services, including consulting, systems integration, application services, maintenance, testing, solution management, business transformation outsourcing services and IT infrastructure services. It also supports leading package solutions, such as SAP, Oracle, Siebel, mainframe and e-business applications.
China GDC provides services to clients worldwide across the locations of Shanghai, Dalian, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and Wuhan and on the client sites. All the Global Delivery Centers located around the world comply with IBM’s global practices, processes and methodologies.
In 2009, China GDC has successfully attained both ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 certifications. The ISO certification is another important milestone in the company’s continuous quality improvement efforts following its accreditation of Capability Maturity Model® Integration Maturity Level 5 (CMMI 5) Version 1.2 by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) in 2008. With the latest and highest international standard institutionalized across China Global Delivery’s sites, IBM continues its leadership in quality control in China’s application services outsourcing market.
Introduction by Site
IBM China Global Delivery Center Shanghai Site was established in 1999. It provides application services to clients worldwide, especially in Japan. It also focuses on the invoice phase of Accounts Payable process supporting 15 countries in 5 languages (English, Japanese, Korean, Thai and Indonesian).
IBM China Global Delivery Center Shenzhen Site was established in 2002. As a strategic Integrated Technology Delivery (ITD) center, it provides technical support, call center and command center services to clients worldwide. The site won “China Best Outsourcing Support Center” in 2008 and became one of the first few companies in China certified for ISO 20000, an international standard for IT service management in 2007. The Shenzhen site also provides application services to Asian customers and sells IBM products and services through ibm.com and telephone.
IBM China Global Delivery Center Dalian Site was established in 2003. It provides application services to customers worldwide, especially those in Japan and South Korea. As the strategic site for IBM Global Process Services(GPS) business in Asia, it provides credit card processing services and business process outsourcing services in functions of CRM (customer relationship management), finance and accounting, human resources and procurement, for clients worldwide. Dalian site has been awarded the "Best Software & Services Outsourcing Company" for four times by local government to date.
IBM China Global Delivery Center Chengdu Site was established in 2007. It provides development, operation and maintenance of application services to clients worldwide. It also runs as a regional operation center for IBM Global Procurement Center, which effectively supports the IBM’s global integration of supply chain management and provides services in multiple languages such as Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean.
IBM China Global Delivery Center Wuhan Site was established in 2010. It provides development, operation and maintenance of application services to clients worldwide with focus in banking, industrial, telecommunications and transportation industries.

  为了满足全球客户对 IT 服务业务不断增长的需求,IBM 于1999 年开始在中国建立了全球服务执行中心网络。目前,中国全球服务执行中心已成为 IBM 在全球第二大的全球服务执行网络。
  IBM中国全球服务执行中心提供广泛的服务,包括业务咨询、系统集成、应用软件服务、维护、测试、解决方案管理、业务转型外包服务和 IT 基础架构服务等。该中心还支持包括 SAP、Oracle、Siebel等在内的整体解决方案,大型机以及电子商务应用等。
  IBM中国全球服务执行中心通过上海、大连、深圳、成都、武汉各分中心向全球客户提供服务。IBM 在全球所有的服务执行中心都采用统一的开发流程和方法。
  2009年,IBM中国全球服务执行中心成功获得应用服务管理ISO20000和信息安全管理ISO27001两项国际认证,这是继2008年获得美国软件工程协会(SEI)CMMI 1.2版本能力成熟度5级认证后,IBM中国全球服务执行中心在服务质量道路上的又一重要里程碑。随着业界最新和最高级的国际性质量标准在中国全球服务执行中心全面实施,IBM中国全球服务执行中心凭借其在质量控制领域的出色表现继续引领中国的应用软件服务外包市场。
                       各分中心介绍
  上海全球服务执行中心成立于1999年,目前为全球特别是日本客户提供应用软件服务,并用英语,日语,韩语,泰语和印度尼西亚语等为IBM在15个国家和地区的业务提供供应商应付账款处理。
  深圳全球服务执行中心成立于2002年,主要为全球客户提供IT基础架构及呼叫/联系中心的外包服务。2008年,该中心因其出色的客户服务获得中国最佳外包呼叫中心技术支持奖。2007年,该中心获得了ISO20000认证,是中国首批获得这项国际殊荣的企业之一。深圳全球服务执行中心同时为亚洲客户提供应用软件服务以及通过电话和网络(ibm.com) 销售IBM的产品和服务。
  大连全球服务执行中心成立于2003年,目前为全球特别是日韩客户提供应用软件服务,并作为IBM 在亚洲业务流程外包业务(BTO)的战略中心,提供人力资源、财务、资金结算、采购以及信用卡处理等流程外包业务。因为对当地软件和服务外包行业作出的积极贡献,大连全球服务执行中心已四次获得由政府颁发的最佳软件和外包企业称号。
  成都全球服务执行中心成立于2007年,主要为全球客户提供应用软件服务,同时作为IBM供应链管理全球整合战略的一部分,为深圳IBM全球采购总部的亚太客户提供全方位的采购服务,服务语言包括中文、英语、日语和韩语。
  武汉全球服务执行中心成立于2010年,主要为银行、工业、电信及交通运输等行业的全球及中国本地客户提供应用软件服务。 收起全部
