Main tasks:

1. Strategical

• Development and implementation of the strategy for the technology portfolio as part of the procurement strategy. Definition together with Electronics Manager and Global Head of Procurement
◦Which suppliers, setting benchmark level, possible sourcing projects
• Project Management / collaboration on sourcing projects
• Integration as a core team member of Belimo ( Innovation ) Projects for the entire purchasing spectrum in the various phases of product development, influencing the production-oriented design of processing processes, and contacts for R&D in field of expertise
• Close cooperation already in the concept phase with development so that the goals and strategies of procurement and the needs of development are already balanced in the product definition
• Ensuring that relevant suppliers are integrated at an early stage in the development process. Creating the Supplier Roadmap which reproduces the milestones of the supplier integration.

• Planning and implementation of risk management measures
• Cost optimization (TCO), MPI, OTD, Quality, ITO, ...
• Ensuring a logistics process that meets requirements in cooperation with suppliers and, if necessary, their subcontractors.
• Ensuring critical components or raw materials, provided that the additional resources for the establishing of a dual source can be assessed positively in the business case
• Category Manager Function (at technology level)
• Global specialist responsibility for at least one technology (Category)
• Responsible for performance and continuous development of the managed portfolio
• Responsible for maintaining the supplier database at technology level
• Strategic procurement management at technology level
• Procurement market research and development of new procurement sources
• Portfolio management (strategy)
• Decides together with the Electronics Manager which suppliers will be included in the portfolio and which ones will be excluded
• Service for development (provision of new technologies, materials, manufacturing processes, know-how procurement market)
• Lead Buyer function (at supplier level)
• Supplier management
• Contract negotiation / price negotiation, conclusion of annual agreements
• Supplier evaluation / development

2. Operational

• Responsible for trouble-free operations (supply reliability)
• Requesting offers and creating offer comparisons
• Ensuring the appropriate quality of the required processes and results
• Executing orders
• Data maintenance of the assigned product group and suppliers in SAP (ensuring the order text is correct, executing the order and monitoring deadlines)
• Drafting cooperation agreements, service agreements, etc.
• Conducting price negotiations
• Continuous optimisation of inbound logistics

3. Controlling

• Responsible for controlling and monitoring at portfolio / supplier level

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical or commercial basic training with additional business training, good technical understanding and, if necessary, additional training in the area of logistics / freight forwarding;
• Experience in similar role, minimum 8 years;
• Experience in and in-depth understanding of technology / logistic chains;
• Experience in international procurement;
• Experience in contract administration;
• Good technical knowledge;
• Fluent in English and Chinese, other languages are an advantage;
• Profound understanding of logistics chains for industrial production;
• Experience in matrix work;
• Experience in SAP (MM Module) ;
• Willingness to travel (approx. 30% of the time);
• Flexible, open-minded, structured, committed, with drive and enthusiasm;
• Leadership personality with experience in employee management;
• High level of independence, reliability;
• Willingness to assume responsibility;
