Planning and Budgeting Develop and implement production operating budget and plan; monitor the achievement of the budget; allocate department target to subordinates and monitor their performance; and develop departmental headcount planning and budgeting
in order to achieve targeted department performance.
Policies and Procedures
Oversee the implementation of TE global and Qing Dao-released policies, procedures and systems; and lead and monitor the development and implementation of localized policies and procedures in order to provide working guidelines and direction for the production team members and improve production efficiency.
People Management
Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback; mentor, develop and motivate them; and resolve people/functional issues in the team in order to achieve targeted department performance and retain key talent.
In-process Improvement
Drive and monitor to optimize the production process by applying new technologies and methodologies (6 sigma; lean; etc.) in order to improve the production efficiency.
Process Management Coordination
Supervise and balance the cross-sectional operation processes, and coordinate to resolve the production issues in order to smooth over the production process
Production Management
Review the production report; provide advice for improvement; and monitor the production process in order to meet production targets.
Facility Equipment Management
Review, approve and monitor the implementation of annual facility / equipment maintenance and overhaul plan budget; review and approve the equipment expansion for new projects; drive and monitor the improvement for equipment utilization efficiency and facility energy saving in order to improve the facility and equipment efficiencies
