Its headquarters is located in Beijing and presently has four branches in the major Chinese ports, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing and Zhuhai. The business of CMCS covers the following aspects: entrusted inspection and survey activities on the quality, specification, quantity, weight, packing, damage, value and shipping conditions of the inward/outward cargoes, on ascertaining the cargo-worthiness of vessels\&#039cargo holds and containers, on containerized cargo inspection and pre-shipment cargo inspection, on supervising cargo loading on and discharging from the vessels, on vessels\&#039and containers\&#039on-hire/off hire inspections, and on properties assessment for imports and exports, as well as the other related survey and inspection activities.
