The company will extend the world-renowned research and development heritage of its founders and build on their combined 80 years of hard disk drive expertise. In China, Hitachi GST has 3 facilities in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Hailiang Storage Products Co., Ltd (HSPC), Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd and Hitachi Global Storage Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Representing the strategy of hard disk drive “Mega Manufacturing Center”, Hitachi Global Storage Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd was founded in July 2004, with a total investment of 500 million USD. It is Hitachi GST’s youngest company. Moreover, Hitachi GSP is Hitachi GST’s Greater China operations base with 7 locations supporting regional headquarters, shared services, our Hitachi design studio, manufacturing, and service & support.
