2024 - Data & Business Analyst - Marketplace Diagnosis
Job Description:
The DiDi International Business Group (IBG) Marketplace Strategy (MPS) - Marketplace Diagnosis Team (MPD) utilizes statistical modelling, machine learning, causal inference and data mining methods to develop business frameworks and facilitate research in macro supply & demand, user persona and other challenging marketplace issues, aiming to achieve business goals & improve overall profitability. MPD team's responsibility is across resource allocation, incentives understanding & optimization, strategy evaluation and other projects that improve operation efficiency. MPD team works closely with other regional teams to co-design key business frameworks and implement relevant tests.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic research in macro supply & demand and user persona to achieve business goals
Develop & align core decision-making frameworks across multi-functional teams, and propose feasible strategies
Facilitate quantitative analysis to support regional operation
Present analytical results to the leadership team
Collaborate with other teams to implement & evaluate tests in order to understand different strategy use-cases and refine framework by scenarios
Requirements:
Master's degree (highly preferred) in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics or similar technical disciplines
0 - 5 year's experiences working in data science or business analytics related field
GPA - 3.5 or higher is preferred
Strong proficiency in query language (e.g. SQL) and programming skills (e.g. Python, R)
Knowledge in Machine Learning Modelling, Causal Inference and Optimization Methodology is a plus
Self-motivated with strong data-driven mindset, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills in Mandarin and English
Comfortable with multi-tasking and working as part of a team
