The Role Description
Every year NI hire the best students around the world for internships and full-time employment in software and hardware engineering, sales, marketing and more. We're always looking for smart, motivated and action-oriented people with technical and engineering enthusiasm to fill internships and full-time positions.The goal of this Academy Engineer Program is to identify and attract top students with the high potential and rich engineering experience to keep NI remains the leader in multiple industries.Being Academy Engineers will firstly receive six month dedicated training on different specified application areas and software/hardware platform that enabling latest technologies, and after that Academy Engineers will become an Application Engineers in one of certain industry.National Instruments Application Engineers ensure customer success at accounts by demonstrating the highest technical aptitude and professional engineering skills. They provide innovative solutions and deliver projects while becoming trusted technical partners for NI’s customers. This is a role that requires not only deep understanding of industry (Semiconductor/Electronics/Transportation/ADG/Portfolio) with domain knowledge, but also strong personal drive and can-do attitude to learn and solve customers’ application needs.
Basic Qualification
Bachelors or Masters degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
Enthusiasm for technologies and engineering proved by rich experience in project practice, for domains like vision, control, (high-speed) signal processing, etc.
Experience in at least one programming language, such as C#, C++, python, LabVIEW, etc.
Hardware or software experience with embedded system development utilizing MCU, FPGA or other platform;
Experience in some of common test engineering instruments, such as power supply, oscilloscope, function generator, SMU, VSA, VSG, VST, VNA,… and so on
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin and English. CET-4 and CET-6 or better in English is required.
Willing and able to travel domestically or internationally, up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience of NI software or hardware platform, including LabVIEW, TestStand,Veristand, PXI, etc.;
Deep knowledge or strong background in electronics, RF, power, energy, automation, measurement, machine/deep learning, etc.;
