Responsibilities:
• Product leadership tasks and responsibilities:
o Responsible for the assigned Product Business Plan, and Life Cycle to maximize market share & revenues.
o Collect and synthesize inputs from vertical marketing group, Business units, engineering, sales, technology and the market to lead the assigned products and business direction.
o Team with vertical marketing group, BU’s, engineering, manufacturing, sales, logistic, and service to champion new product features and options to ensure timeliness, quality and meeting market requirements. Leading product development management.
o Be the Company’s Product Evangelist!
• Product positioning tasks and responsibilities:
o Responsible for TAM, SAM, growth rate, market penetration, SWOT, competitive analysis, Voice of Customer together with Sales.
o Maintain cognizance of competitive activities, changes in their marketing strategy or tactics, and general trends that could affect product sales
o Responsible for proposing product strategy in response to competitive changes in the marketplace.
• Pricing tasks and responsibilities:
o Manage and optimize the long-term competitiveness, market share, and ROI of assigned product line.
o Monitor product profit margins and work with responsible parties to execute corrective actions.
o Work with Manufacturing to develop a cost reduction plan for each product.
• Product Sales Support and Distribution tasks and responsibilities:
o Assess and recommend optimum go to market strategies.
o Visit customer sites and team with Design Engineers, Applications team, and Sales department to propose product solutions.
o Develop innovative sales tools by teaming up with the Marketing Communications group, Applications team, and vendors.
• Product promotion tasks and responsibilities:
o Contribute to the marketing communications strategy and ensure that appropriate marketing materials are available.
• Deliver and support product collateral for field sales and applications teams.
Requirements:
• BS or MS Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• In depth market and technical experience in the following areas: Gas Sensing, Flow Sensing, MEMS, Semiconductors.
• 8 years of relevant experience in the industry and role of product marketing/manager or management, technical function.
• Good team player, ability to effectively work with the sales, technical, and related teams
• Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Mindset of aggressiveness, passion, and accountability.
