Job Description Summary
This role will join the Revvity Signals China R&D team as a software development engineer and participate in the development of Signals Inventa products. Based on Spotfire and other popular distributed computing frameworks (such as Spark, Elastic, etc.), this product creates a software solution for chemical and biomolecular big data analysis and visualization, helping researchers to mine important information hidden in various heterogeneous data, Thereby promoting the generation of new scientific breakthroughs.

After joining the team
Your job responsibilities will include the following
1. Collaborate with global product teams and sibling teams to develop high-quality related functions according to product development plans
2. Provide second-level support for product service and customer support teams, and provide relevant technical support for customer feedback problems
3. Participate in the continuous learning of the team, continuously improve related activities, and actively promote the expansion of team knowledge and skills and the improvement of processes
Your routine work will include the following
1. Participate in software development-related meetings, including iteration planning and review, daily stand-up meetings, and project-related communications
2. Carry out design, development, testing, documentation and other related work according to product change requirements, or participate in the review of other members' related work
3. Present relevant work done by yourself or your team to stakeholders for feedback
Participate in team development-related activities, including recruitment interviews, knowledge sharing, training, etc.
In the first 3 months with us, you will
1. Have a senior colleague as a short-term mentor to help you integrate into the team as soon as possible
Get basic induction training for new employees, basic content training related to projects
2. On each task assignment, work in pairs with a senior colleague to help you get off to a smooth start making your own contribution to the product.
We expect you own
1. Bachelor's degree or above in computer software-related science or engineering, or equivalent.
2. At least 5-year work experience in software development and at least 1 year focusing in building web applications based on .Net (core) and modern front-end frameworks.
3. Awe of quality, able to use C# proficiently to write clean code (Clean Code).
4. Curious about unknown areas, able to independently explore technical possibilities and dig deep into the root of problems.
5. Ability and willingness to communicate with global partners in English.
6. Knowledge and experience in K8S, Elastic Search, Spark. (Preferred)
