The Virtuos Express aims to identify and acquire the extraordinary university fresh graduates with passionate and potential to join Virtuos. Through a faster career development path and intensive project involvement, the plan is to help the fresh graduates grow up as the backbone of Art division in Virtuos in a shorter period by comparison to the usual promotion approach.
Your development and growth at Virtuos will bypass the trainee grogram that other fresh graduates usually go through. Instead, you will receive direct 1-on-1 guidance and shadow from Art directors and Experts. At the same time, you will be involved in the various projects, including AAA titles, to accumulate and enrich the valuable experience. This V Plan will enable you to be the key Art Leader/Expert of high quality and creative projects in Virtuos.

Responsibilities •Based off understanding with basic artistic skills, to deliver clients with art assets and level creation used in 3D game engines (including environments, levels, weapons and equipment, rocks, plants, environmental elements etc.) •Rotate among production projects in environment art department, and get skills exercised and developed with supervision and guidance. •Participate in vis dev process at early dev stage. •基于美术技能,向客户交付其要求的3D游戏引擎中使用的3D场景资产和3D场景关卡(包括场景、关卡、武器装备、山石、植物等)。 •采用轮岗制在场景部门各项目组之间参与项目生产,在实际项目中得到能力的锻炼以及发展的考察 。 •参与前期的视觉开发工作。
Qualifications •Bachelor degree or above, art related college or major is preferred (including animation, film and television animation, digital media art, game art, industrial design, Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, printmaking, architectural design, textile/fashion design, etc.) •Have a solid foundation in painting, including perspective, light and shadow, color theory, etc •Proficient in drawing software such as Photoshop, software skills such as ZBrush, 3DSmax, Maya, SP or Blender are preferred •Good sense on building up own visual library and good design sense •Capability to acquire new knowledge quickly and a high degree of self-motivation •Excellent communication skills , in particular the good English communication skill is preferred •Prior experience in participating in commercial game or indie game development is preferred •To apply for the position, please provide at least 10 independently completed game works as part of your portfolio. •本科及以上学历,艺术类相关院校或专业优先考虑(包括动画,影视动画,数字媒体艺术,游戏美术,工业设计,国画,油画,雕塑,版画,建筑设计,纺织/时装设计等)。 •具备扎实的绘画基础,包括透视,光影,色彩理论等 。 •熟练掌握Photoshop等绘图软件,具有ZBrush,3Dmax,Maya,SP或Blender等软件技能的优先考虑。 •具备丰富的视觉积累,以及良好的设计思维。 •出色的学习能力,并能自我驱动不断成长 。 •良好的沟通表达能力,具备良好的英语沟通能力者将优先考虑 。 •有参与商业游戏或独立游戏开发经验者优先考虑。 •申请岗位时请提供独立完成的作品,作品数量不低于10张。
