Main Purpose主要目标:


This position is responsible for delivering all aspects of the Supplier Quality function. Work with suppliers to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation. Drive supplier continuous improvements in meeting all operation requirements whilst ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.Manage Chengdu component suppliers to complete quality planning and component qualification.

Acting as the backup to Quality Engineer to ensure product and processes meet established quality standards and monitoring and analyzing quality performance.
Key Accountabilities关键职责:
？Collaborate with sourcing to select and evaluate potential new suppliers. Carry out supplier qualification audit assessing supplier quality system compliance and product manufacturing process compliance.
？Manage the process to add new suppliers to the approved supplier list and maintain as needed. Ensure the process is compliant with QMS requirements.
？Work with engineering team to define process requirements and ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet the requirements.
？Manage the supplier component qualification (PPAP) completion.
？Collaborate with quality service users on service qualification and monitoring of service supplier performance.
？Manage supplier CAPA process, verifying supplier root cause analysis and implementation/effectiveness of supplier correction actions.
？Collaborate with design and engineering team to ensure changes on product requirements are implemented and validated at supplier side and ensure changes from suppliers are evaluated and approved by internal stakeholders follow procedure and well managed to close.
？Collect and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain driving better process capability and cost down.
？Create and maintain the component inspection plan. Driving supplier owned quality initiatives and promote supplier continuous improvement.
？Working with engineering team to complete root cause analysis and define corrective actions to address quality issue and driving continuous improvement.
？Manage nonconforming product process to ensure nonconforming products are properly controlled and segregated.
？Acting as back up to quality engineer to maintain pFMEA for Chengdu manufacturing process.

Experience and Knowledge经验与技能:
？Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
？Engineering tools utilization experience such as MSA, process validation, pFMEA
？Knowledge of inspection method and equipment
？Well versed in quality problem solving tools such as DMAIC, 8D, A3, Ishikawa, 5-why etc.
？Knowledge and experience of ISO9001, ISO13485 or equivalent quality system
？Experience over molding and assemble process is an advantage.
Qualifications任职资格:
？Bachelor’s degree or above.
？Able to use English (verbal and writing) as working language.
？Six sigma & lean manufacturing experience or qualification is an advantage.
