We’re looking for a seasoned and experienced and results-driven engineering lead, a senior Director role, for our organization. You'll be responsible for managing gifted engineers and critical projects. In addition, you play an important role in overseeing architecture and implementation decisions as well as strategies to address technical debt in the existing legacy system.
In this role, you will act as a technical leader, developer, adviser, troubleshooter, and analyst, and draw on your broad knowledge of software development to assist with a wide variety of technical challenges. A flexible mindset, good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with cross-domain SDMs and engineers are also important.
Responsibilities:
• Work with key stakeholders to design and build a solid and extensible system architecture to effectively empower the business initiatives and engineering productivity.
• Lead and manage an engineering team, ensuring the teams are following industry best practices and is working efficiently and effectively to deliver high-quality software products and services
• Build cohesive technical strategic plans to accomplish business objectives, identify specific areas of risk and opportunity, and formulate goals and milestones that will enable us to achieve those objectives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Cross-Domain, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Operation, to ensure the development team is aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
Required Qualifications:
• Working efficiency in English, to communicate with teams through China/Korea/US regions
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in customer-oriented application and system, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss complex technical systems, architecture & design, and proficient in navigating them. Experienced as an architect or chief architect is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams on at least one big challenging project.
• Must be able to make informed decisions regarding the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies and roadmap.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on driving results, fostering collaboration, and inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals.
