1. Engineering o Recruit, train, develop and retain engineering talent, to have stable and capable people to sustain operation and continuously improve area performance o Develop assembly process and critical equipment roadmap to support new technology and drive for execution and give onsite support to production. o Oversee new process/ equipment set-up and ensure all performance targets are met o Provide engineering direction, align, communicate and motivate his people to meet all the committed measuring criteria o Lead and develop continuous improvement activity in VPS (Volvo Production System) o Manage the budget, resources and cost of the responsible area to ensure cost effectiveness in all its operations o Responsible for engines phased in and phased out plan in plant according to business requirement, keeping track for Design Change Notice implementation for product maintenance. To lead new product and project introduction process in plant level. o Contact technical window for different global development projects and engine classification projects o Market Adaption Support to take whole ownership for special order design, handling and implementation in EM&APAC market. o Global UPFIT function in Lingang to support market side o Other duties as assigned by GM.
2. Quality: o Keep Lingang KPI improving and alignment including Direct Runner, Customer Satisfaction, and Supplier PPM etc. o Monitor and maintain plant level environment, health and safety. o Continuously develop plant internal process and procedure to fully comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 o Leading quality team to develop competence to handling daily quality job including argus case handling, quality incoming good inspection, warranty extension, quality assurance plan for new product process, P-FEMA etc. o Cooperation with sourcing team and SQA to reduction supplier PPM and perform 8D report for customer’s improvement. o Lead the global warranty activities from Lingang plant side o Continuously developing quality team competence and retain talents. o Other duties as assigned by GM.
Requirement: o Require MS/BC degree or equivalent with 8 or more years of related experience and 3 or more years of management experience o Experience and knowledge of Assembly/Manufacturing o Good experiences in Quality System Management and manufacturing Engineering. o Good leadership with excellence people management & communication skill, able to interact with internal and external customers. o Visionary, aggressive, objective minded and results oriented o Systematic with good problem solving, statistical analyst and project management skills o The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment o Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of division/business unit strategic objectives and goals o Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment
