Responsibilities:
This position is for an Engineer on Store team to develop new features, improve performance and drive down costs of goods shipped (COGS) for the service. The service is a highly performing, distributed, highly available and resilient systems. We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst who has a passion for analyzing big data to uncover anomalous usage insights and driving COGS insights into champs. Your responsibility will be:
- Analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
- Design and build highly efficient, aggregated, cost-effective data pipelines in Azure or internal Big Data Environments to generate high-value data insights to benefit service quality improvements and COST saving.
- Develop predictive algorithms and produce data insights.
- Guide feature teams to reduce resource consumption.
Requirements:
• 3+ years experiences in software programming, data modeling and/or analytics Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to formalize real-life problems and to focus on business objectives
• Good understanding of predictive analytics process from data validation to model assessment, stability, and deployment monitoring
• Proficiency in C# or C/C++, and strong design, implementation, and debugging skills; knowledge of scripting languages a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi develop center teams
• BS/MS in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, AI, or a related engineering field
